Huhnseal BAU
Huhnseal BAU is the optimum seal construction for installations with very high hygienic demands. All parts of the seal that are in direct contact with the product or the flushing media have smooth surfaces with no gaps or cavities that are difficult to keep clean. The unique world patent construction has springs, drive pins and fasteners situated outside of the seal. The seal is a double cartridge design that can seal product at either a higher or lower pressure than the flushing media. The flushing media flow through the seal is controlled to keep all spaces clean. Dimensions: 20-200 mm shaft diameter.

The BAU-seal is very suited for mixer constructions as it can absorb large axle movements. To improve the cleaning efficency the BAU-seal can be supplied with a special flange welded to the tank. The construction of the flange makes it possible to install a top-mounted mixing-device centric as well as off-centric. This concept means easier installation and service.
