All applications can be tested under same conditions as real. The picture to the left shows testing of an offshore application at 70 bar and 5200 rpm. The same seal is tested with pressured oil on one side and water on the other side to see how water gets into the oil.
In food applications standard o-rings are frequently used wich form difficult points and makes it hard to clean.

With the unique qualities of diamond coating we have developed a sealing solution for dry running, high PV-values and abrasive applications. Diamond is three times harder than silicone carbide and has a friction which is 2/3 less than silicone.
In our FEM-model we can predict how the seal ring will be deformed from pressure and heat. This helps us to optimize the design.
